USMI is closely monitoring the situation. The Penticton Sikh Temple reached out to the incredible volunteers at the Penticton Trade & Convention Centre evacuation site to offer support — and the offer was gratefully accepted.

The Penticton Sikh Temple provided evacuees and volunteers with peaches, Punjabi sweets and snacks 🍩, hot lentil stew, rice 🍚, dry groceries, and sugar.

The Penticton Sikh Temple has committed to continuing this support with whatever resources they have, whenever they’re needed.

We ask the Sikh community to help sustain this effort - dry groceries, sanitary supplies, and financial donations can be made through the Penticton Sikh Temple.

First time either's been in the same city as the other in months. Reports say they crossed paths on the sidelines.

That's notable because these two barely speak. Israel's refused Kyiv military aid, citing its own security coordination with Russia in Syria. Netanyahu's kept unusually close ties with Putin.

Ukraine's been backing anti-Russian-aligned factions in Sudan, Libya, and the Sahel, actors Israel doesn't love either.

A funeral for a mutual ally being the closest thing to a Ukraine-Israel meeting in years.

Iran’s threats are unjustified and groundless. The regime in Teheran is a direct accomplice to Russian aggression against Ukraine, fuelling Moscow’s criminal war with weapons that have killed Ukrainians since 2022.

Iran has no standing to pretend to be a victim, let alone justify its threats with absurd references to the UN Charter.

With its statements, Iran also tries to shift attention away from Russia’s terror against civilian shipping in the Black Sea, which is threatening global food security. But it will not succeed.
