I support canceling student loan debt and making public college free. However, rather than a fight over 10K or 50K of forgiveness, lets extend the suspension of payments under terms same as Cares Act. Costs virtually nothing, and provides needed relief to over 40 Million people.

@BullandBaird As a very long time follower of Mr. Buffett, I can honestly say that I was a bit shaken at his bearish/pessimistic tone. I do not believe I have seen him that pessimistic. I think a telling point: His comments about why he doesn't buy Berkshire at these low prices.

@sbrfernandez @BullandBaird For what it is worth, he had previously stated that he was not going to buy an airline. I agree that he may be waiting for a bigger downturn. Some don't remember this, but he didn't buy the bottom in the great recession (he was quite early)... a point he has recently mentioned.

He has commented in the past that he makes some international investments, but has an easier time understanding the markets, rules, etc here in the US. When he got the letter from ISCAR, he had never heard of them.

Companies offered him the special warrants BECAUSE of the reputation he had previously built. In addition, the warrants represent a tiny percentage of his returns over the years.
