USVC

USVC is how you invest in venture capital. Start with as little as $500 for broad exposure to private tech companies. Built by @AngelList

[USVC @usvchq]

For important disclosures and USVC holdings, see here: https://t.co/uWgogGdCtu.

USVC is a new fund by AngelList Asset Management that broadens access to venture capital, that may allow retail investors to gain exposure to promising companies before they become well-known. USVC holds portfolio companies directly, through funds, and through special purpose vehicles. With USVC, you buy and redeem at NAV. No daily market volatility. USVC shares are not tradeable on a market, so don't invest if you're uncomfortable with illiquidity.

An investment in the Fund involves material risks and should be considered speculative. There can be no assurance that the Fund will achieve its investment objective, that investors will receive distributions, or that investors will not lose all or a substantial portion of their investment. Shares are not listed on any exchange, have no public trading market, and are illiquid. Liquidity is limited to periodic repurchase offers made at the discretion of the Board, which are not guaranteed. This investment is suitable only for long-term investors who can bear the risks of limited liquidity. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Fees and expenses may reduce returns.

The history of AI is a history of constraints.

First it was data. Then it was compute. We believe the next constraint is the pace of research itself.

Today, USVC is investing in the startup built to make self-improving AI.

If you get an email from me, it’s fake.

[USVC @usvchq]

And for those curious, we are working to expand access to international investors!

But we will never reach out like this and Naval will not send you an email

[USVC @usvchq]

We will only ever contact you from a https://t.co/kt9nVQIEdM, https://t.co/PKnSy2uOuz, or https://t.co/xqij2Pi97Y email

Check the sender's domain and when in doubt, forward the message to [email protected] to verify!

[Ankur Nagpal @ankurnagpal]

PSA: There is a nasty impersonation scam going around with USVC at the moment

If you get an email from me or @naval asking about your USVC investment, it's likely fake:

1. Naval will never email you. He's allergic to email.

2. If it's from me or someone else from the USVC team, check the domain of the sender before responding. We'll only ever email from a usvc or angellist domain

Be careful out there

Our latest investment is in one of the fastest companies to reportedly reach $1B in annual revenue.

We invested $2M in @mercor at a $10B valuation.

Here's why we invested and what it means for our investors:

Historically, a position like this took the right connections and a 7-figure check.
