@TeaChaiLa Footballers treat Olympic as second tier competition many prefer pre season over Olympics lol and it is classified U23.

Just get the medals and be happy multi sport events are never about these team events and its not a cricket problem

[UTDJoy @UTDJoy10]

@Anna_Naikk Fully agreed.
Just one point I want to add.
In leisure time try to follow these athletes and sports in other tournaments.
Just a suggestion its a good habit to pass your time.

@DxDinesh524151 @ajitrai1670832 @XUnfiltere69061 The op said "used to rank higher"
Since 1958 there is just one occasion where pakistan ranked higher its merely an exception than a past trend.

We have always been better than them

[UTDJoy @UTDJoy10]

They are counting every near future matches as loss already :)

PAKISTAN VS INDIA - THE CURRENT HEAD-TO-HEAD. 🇵🇰🇮🇳

Pakistan - 88 wins.
India - 81 wins.

- With five Pakistan-India ODIs already on the cards next year, and potentially a sixth, India could take the overall head-to-head lead very soon. 👀

[UTDJoy @UTDJoy10]

@ajitrai1670832 @XUnfiltere69061 When Pakistan used to rank higher?

[UTDJoy @UTDJoy10]

@Rancho_Notes Where did Odisha won 4
Only medal winners in hockey team ig

[UTDJoy @UTDJoy10]

@TeaChaiLa Forget other nations we progressed in sports like volleyball, badminton and shooting, recovered old glory in hockey but stays same level of shit in this sport.

[UTDJoy @UTDJoy10]

@TeaChaiLa This type of optimism stays for ten days and then some stupid decision at federation level and on pitch results and we go backwards in lieu of looking ahead.

[UTDJoy @UTDJoy10]

@Priyang87 Those countries focus on 2-3 sports where they are world class. So that gives them same no of medals in both olympic and asian games.

Like North Korea has 7 weightlifting golds.
Even if hypothetically india finished with 6 golds we still are a better sporting nation.

[UTDJoy @UTDJoy10]

@AKTalksSports His takes are extremely bad and ill informed

[UTDJoy @UTDJoy10]

@PaxMacintosh Team events?

[UTDJoy @UTDJoy10]

18 (including Pranavi's gold)
Ankush
Aman
Men Hockey
Men Cricket

4th place finish?

[The Khel India @TheKhelIndia]

India’s Medal tally currently at Asian Games!

🥇 18 Gold 🥈 26 Silver 🥉35 Bronze

Gold medals not yet added in official tally

[UTDJoy @UTDJoy10]

We are clearly growing as a sporting nation as we are getting medals in many different sports

[UTDJoy @UTDJoy10]

@AnoopKSachdev @CobbUTD7 @Bloodraven____ No respect for those khap medals or whatever shit she is doing in the name of politics.

But as a sport fan I can't tolerate disrespect in the name of wrestler Vinesh Phogat.

[UTDJoy @UTDJoy10]

@InfraholicR We need a pipeline from grassroot level and something in middle in national level for talent scouting.

TOPS must not be touched or interfared one of the only good schemes of indian sports.

[UTDJoy @UTDJoy10]

@InfraholicR 100+ individual athletes and most of them are nowhere near a medal prospect.

TOPS cover extreme outside chances too.

And coming to your point TOPS is to give best possible chance and outcome for medal prospects.

TOPS is almost perfect the way it is being run.

[UTDJoy @UTDJoy10]

@TeaChaiLa Not for debate.
A flawless campaign for women and recently had a way better world cup campaign too.
