@Nina_Metz Regardless, I love ALL kinds of film, but great comedies are hard to come by. Great rom-coms are even more scarce. With no mono-culture (as you mentioned), there isn’t any cultural momentum (?) to carry audiences/direct filmmakers. I hope the new year of film brings new hope.

@Nina_Metz He’s a big screen guy as far as I know. Most/all the rom coms are streaming now. Maybe that’s why. I also seem to remember reading that he would alternate NGO work with film work. Maybe he reprioritized 🤔.
