Now that GBA has cracked down on footpath encroachments, I urge them to extend the same enforcement to:

• Dust and debris accumulated on roads
• Flex and banners obstructing footpath
• Vehicles illegally parked on footpaths
• Temporary food carts occupying footpaths (chaat stalls, dosa centres, etc.)
• Broken and unsafe footpaths

Reclaiming footpaths is only half the job. Keeping them clean, safe, and accessible should be the next priority.

What do you think GBA should do apart from the ones stated above?

SWITCH EV hit Vayu Vajra Bus in KR Circle at a signal. 13 people injured including the driver. Driver is said to be critical.

Why majority of incidents related to BMTC is now due to EV buses?

Is it because
- drivers are hired on contract and don't undergo BMTC driver training
- drivers can't handle the EV properly
- carelessness as they are not under direct BMTC
