I post threads and other must know things about Machine Learning, Python, Deep Learning, ML Ops and other stuff weekly.
Let's connect and take this journey together to understand practical machine learning at @utkarshML
@sundar30@3rdEyeDude@TeamBHPforum ASK YOUR POLITICIANS AND govt bodies to STOP APPROVING NEW CONSTRUCTION - RESIDENTIAL OR CORPORATE, except public infrastructure.
@sundar30@3rdEyeDude@TeamBHPforum I've worked with your politicians for 2 years... I've heard them openly say people of karnataka are like goats - put fodder of regionalism in their mouth & they'll forget everything else. All your education is useless if you can't see this and JUST blame outsiders for everything
@sundar30@3rdEyeDude@TeamBHPforum Do you know the current CDP plan was supposed to last till 2014? This city is dying a slow death, and trust me - it is not because of outsiders ALONE. Your so called "Educated Natives" Are so full of greed when they're happily swelling lands to these companies
@sundar30@3rdEyeDude@TeamBHPforum Yeah. Good point. Blame all your problems on outsiders. Your politicians loot the state, roads are pathetic, lakes are being dried up, groundwater has completely vanished, but sure, blame the outsiders.
99.9999% Outsiders are not the ones building new office buildings...
@sundar30@3rdEyeDude@TeamBHPforum Or constructing residential apartments on lakes. ASK YOUR CROOKED POLITICIANS TO STOP ALLOTING LANDS TO CORPORATES. YOU HAVE ENOUGH COMPANIES TO SUPPORT ENTIRE YOUTH OF KARNATAKA. ASK POLITICIANS TO STAY NEW ENCROACHMENT OF LAKES. RENEW PLANS TO DEVELOP SATELLITE TOWNS.
It's good to hire freshers, but this expectation is completely wrong. Seems thr manager who gave this needs to be trained... the PR guy didn't bother to check it twice... And the company became a laughing stock

Can someone explain what is wrong with this JD? this is expected from freshers...? @SchneiderElec you need to train your HR or get someone who understands Job competency framework, goals -> hierarchy cascade -> KPI mapping.

Reminds me of days when deep learning frameworks were 2-3 year old and companies used to ask for 5+ years of experience in them... Just pay more and get SMEs. It pays off in the longer run... Shows how replaceable "resources" are to management. #HRfails 🤦♂️🙏
@TheHustle Sorry to say this, but that's a horrible chart, and a horrible representation of data. I was attracted by your headline, but these graph gifs are not helping deliver the punchline. Get a good analyst. Or a good story teller. Or google some best practices for charting data :/
I love cookiecutter templates for python projects. They make your life so simple. But finding good templates is a major hassle. I eventually bundled several best practices and created my own - and you can access it here - https://t.co/L9pTG4gYbq
It comes with following -
FastAPI server with Pydantic objects
Linting
YAML Config and environment variables
gunicorn - uvicorn implementation
Elaborate README documentation
gitlab runner CI configuration
docker-compose setup and docker file setup
Came to know about FinBERT pre-trained model today - it is fantastic! Its a transformer trained to perform sentiment analysis on financial data. Amazing input to a data model pipeline for stock forecasting

Finally submitted the first draft of the concept paper to my guide!! Never thought it would complete on time! When the pressure gets to you, it feels like dropping out of the doctorate program, but then you know next day you'll be back at it!! Hoping the momentum continues
How do you decide on a research thesis topic? You read about what the area of research has to offer. Read about what others are song on this space, and related space. Once you've read 30, 40, 60, 100s of papers, patterns start to emerge. It's not a day's exercise- it's a journey
One of the things I've always wondered is how do you select a topic our area of research. Always select something such is close to your heart, because you'll have to stick to it for next 3-5 years of your life, everyday.
