@elonmusk @stevenmackey For Indian nationals, wait times can be as long as 134 years. I am waiting in the green card backlog since 2015. I have bachelor of engineering degree from one the leading tech institutes in India and moved to US in 2010 on H1B sponsored by IBM and still waiting for a green card.

@elonmusk @stevenmackey Being an H1B visa holder myself and living and working in the United States since 2010, I personally feel very positive when I see somebody like @elonmusk backs this program. However, we should also talk about the unprecedented backlogs for green cards we are facing.
