Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Hidalgo County recently held their annual Child Abuse Prevention Candlelight Vigil. A walk & candlelight vigil were held to honor the victims of crime & child abuse & to those children whose lives were taken too soon.
#UTRGV PD participated in an "Every Child Matters" event on the Edinburg campus. This event was to bring awareness to a child who may have lost their life or was otherwise affected by child abuse. The event was marked by the planting of a pinwheel.
