@AlishNrg@RobyPoto@NealGardner_ Fluidity for me is spontaneous decision made on the spot re how to move, where to move and who to pass the ball to. Not sure psg players are allowed that freedom.
@culersveryown@El_Topo5@RobyPoto@NealGardner_ very kind of you to make fun of a strawman made of what I actual wrote instead of engaging with what I wrote initially or my reply :) Twitter is such a cool and interesting place.
@AlishNrg@RobyPoto@NealGardner_ i would say it is fluid within a positional play constraint. theres qoute from last year iirc where Lucho adamently talks about how no one does anything on the pitch that he didn't instruct them to do, or something like that, to paraphrase. that doesn't really sound fluid to me.
@JuegoDePrach@RobyPoto@NealGardner_ its flexibile within a rigid system. its rotations, but the rotations are still predetermined based on which positions the players are on the pitch, and which positions the opponents players are on the pitch.
@El_Topo5@culersveryown@RobyPoto@NealGardner_ also, I wrote "rigid prositional play", meaning, I do not want a top down control freak manager like Lucho, not that the team shouldnt have any positional principles.
@RobyPoto@NealGardner_ 100%. Luis Enrique sounds like a terrible idea, tbh. I do not want rigid positional play in my club anymore. What do you think abt Fabregas, btw?
@RuriBarlow@danieIscouting i dont think it is an intellectually honest way of judging Pedris strengths and weaknesses, tbh. He was, as you said, still unfit, and also, that everyone gets outrun by Llorente
@SvetoslavS_ There are several types of ball playing defenders and even if he is not interested in Bastoni, it doesn't mean he do not want a ball playing defender. Same goes for Araujo or Vuskovic and a physical defender.
@veeraculer theres no reason to not think we can afford Arsenals bid if the club is back to 1:1. Barca earns a lot more than Arsenal as an institution, didn't spend anything last season (outside of Joan Garcia) and has a lot of money saved
@JBBeren@AtletiRyan Bernal is imo worth more than Alvarez so I would rather not that happen, but I do agree it would be better for LaLiga if someone paid the full amount for Álvarez
@TelcoDavid@stirling_j I think they do that in a way where they normalize the western thinking/"hegemony" without tryint to present real options or alternative ways of thinking
@cansadopt@stirling_j I wasn't referring to the thread, but everything else around it. it mostly is the people at the "adult table" talking about taltics like position play is an inherent structure of everything, and jamie hamilton (the guy I was replying to btw), mostly being ignored
