@virsanghvi@airindia The positive comments are mostly anecdotal. Statistically it still has a high rate of fatal crashes compared to other airlines. Probably PIA is the only one in the subcontinent to have a worse record. Points to structural negligence of safety concerns, etc.

@ITCHotelsCares My recent stay at ITC Grand Goa was disappointing and far below expectations. The pillows had stains (photo attached). Staff showed no concern when I reported it. In-room dining coffee was served in a visibly stained cup — completely unhygienic.

Some other issues:
No coffee machine in room.
Bathroom glass door had gaps that let insects in.
Having stayed here last year, the decline in standards is alarming. I had planned to return later this year, but after this experience, I won’t be.

When the locking feature works correctly the pilot needs to unlock it (by lifting the switch) before turning it off. This isn't required when the lock is disengaged.
@AnchorAnandN Other questions are fine, but no one has suggested fuel switches are faulty. They may have been installed with locking system disengaged, which is a minor problem and can't cause crashes by itself.
@airindia@airindia no you have not. All you have said is choosing seats is meaningless because you will change them as per your wish. I am yet to encounter a more unprofessional booking service for any airline.
@airindia I booked 4 premium economy seats and specifically chose 8H, 8K, 9H, 9K which was also confirmed in my reservation ticket. However, at the check-in counter these were replaced with four other seats. What is the point of advance seat selection if they will be removed?!
@airindia Disappointing service from airindia. No one willing to guarantee that senior citizen with fractured limb will be provided wheelchair assistance to the seat, even if I am willing to pay for the service.
This is in stark contrast with other international airlines where I have had a much better service multiple times. No wonder @airindia is the last choice for most frequent flyers despite their new aircrafts being decent.
@BlueDartCares I have already shared my private number. It has been more than one week. Is there no hope of my courier being delivered? Astonishingly poor service. Each time you promise that someone will get in touch and yet it's been more than a week and there is no support.

This is an extremely important letter, and you have already delayed it by more than a week.
