I can't remember the last NBA team to improve from a watchability standpoint as much as the Heat have without making substantial roster changes. They went from "dead team walking" last spring to one of the most energetic and connected teams in the league so far this year.
"Is he going to be Sean McVay or Matt LaFleur, or is he going to be Adam Gase and Brandon Staley? I don't know."
@ColinCowherd reacts to Bears hiring Ben Johnson as head coach
Bear down: Chicago is finalizing a deal to hire Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson as its next head coach, sources tell ESPN. Bears are getting their man.
@StanWallmer @FlyByMo@TheNBACentral Ok this can I agree with. It can be that included though. But there definitely should be something else thatโs more immediate. I agree with that.
@FlyByMo @StanWallmer @TheNBACentral The point of the tournament in general make the regular season more interesting and give incentive to the stars to actually play. Urgency = viewers. I just donโt see 500K really being enough to give that, could be wrong.
@FlyByMo @StanWallmer @TheNBACentral In addition to that, are you more worried about the feelings of role players worried about a rookie coming in or supporting your best players more to compete for a championship and also developing prospects for the future?
Reg season too long, no urgency. And on top of that, the media/fans have made it to where the only thing that matters is being healthy for the playoffs to win a ring or your legacy doesnโt mean anything.
I find it kinda wild how NBA teams reportedly donโt even practice much anymore and superstar players are just missing games left and rightโฆ
Feels like most of it is just laziness, honestlyโฆ
One takeaway from tonight is the NBA has to stop having the All Star weekend in these odd ball/cold locations. One of the worst weekends Iโve seen in a long time.
