Step 1 of recycling is cutting small strips of plastic as seen. The strips are about 5-10 mm thick. This will then be passed through a hot-end with a 1.75mm nozzle.

We want to thank @igortylman for allowing Kevin Irungu to recycle plastic. He recently won a PET machine that can recycle plastic. For the last two weeks, we have been researching how this machine is made and understanding all the bells and whistles.
