To become very wealthy, you will have to allow wealth to pass through you.

When you begin giving for the pleasure of Allāh, Allāh makes you a means through which the sustenance of many people/organisations/institutes reaches them.

And when their wealth is being sent through you, Allāh sends alot extra, so that you have enough to keep, extra to spend and alot more to give.

In this way, you have wealth to give and wealth to keep.

But when you never spend on others, there is no reason for wealth to pass through you to them, and hence there is no need for you to get that wealth.

Due to that, you dont get this extra wealth to keep and spend.

You have to spend to get.
