Let me help some folks out
HS T&F seniors and juniors
Follow these steps to help you find the school that fits you best (not one size fits all)
1. Go to https://t.co/Nw66CzC1Wc and click on outdoor lists
2. Select a conference and pick the gender that applies to you. Click on that list
3. Find an athlete in your events and click on one that has either their confrence or ncaa result listed
4. Click on the conference or ncaa results and look at the results of the final and the qualifying round
5. Here’s a pivot moment for you:
Compare and contrast your performances to the results of the postseason meet.
A. If you are nowhere close to making a final, scoring or winning, the best bet is to go back to the outdoor list screen and keep clicking until you find at least a conference you can make a final in OR you can try to contact the coach and see if the reply.
B. If you can make the final or at least close, shoot your shot.
6. If you fall under option 5A, keep repeating 1-5 in each division to find a program that values the production you can bring. If/when you fall under option 5B, contact the coaches at any of those schools with grades, test scores, milesplit/athletic.net profile, and videos that clearly show what lane you are in and the meet result.
7. Ask good questions of the coaches: what is the value of my event area to the success of the team in the postseason, do they have the major you are looking for, etc.
Make sure you Never Misrepresent an offer or your recruiting status at other schools (coaches talk and know each other)
Let a Coach/Parent/etc do ALL the talking and asking questions. College coaches will be coaching YOU, not your parents or Hs/Club coaches. College coaches want to get to know you, not negotiate with “agents” We want your people involved but they can’t be the sole voice heard.
Mess around sending information a coach requests like transcripts and ncaa id numbers. Communicate any delays in sending information. If you aren’t interested, communicate.
Take open and honest feedback personally. Coaches will miss out on people from time to time just like athletes miss out on great opportunities from time to time.
Move with desperation. Desperate people will do things outside of their character. Maintain your ethics
Again, this isn’t one size fits all but it may help.
Pam Bondi said the Epstein client list was on her desk to review for release to the public just a few months ago. Now the DOJ she leads claims that there’s no Epstein client list.
Sorry but this is unacceptable.
Was she lying then or is she lying now?
We deserve answers.
@BrendanThompsn@pntrack My daughter is starting softball pitcher but also runs track (5 ft high jump, 62 sec relay split 400). Here fastball now after indoor track season, compared to late January has a lot more pop and electricity to it. I can help but think that Cats can also pitch.
@CitiusMag What a perfect drill to teach beginning hurdlers not jump the hurdle, but instead to sprint the hurdle. If you attempt to heel plant, it will likely result in concussion or spectacular wipeout.
