Truncated icosahedra (soccer balls) can fill the hyperbolic space: bitruncated {5,3,5}. Each ball touches 32 neighbors. Since there are two types of faces, this shape is not regular. But it is cell, edge, and vertex-transitive. Almost regular. Don't try it at home, flat-spacers!
