@USAndKolkata when are you resuming ofc appointments for H-1B stamping? I’m fully vaccinated and have a NIE but need to get my renewed visa stamped in order to return to the US. Website shows no available appointments for over a week.
@DCEastSinghbhum I took my first Covaxin dose on May 15 at Potka Girls High School. My second dose is due between June 12 to June 26 and I’m scheduled to fly to the US on July 8. The cowin app has not yet opened registration. Please advise.
@getnonimmihome “Protect Americans” sounds a lot disingenuous when Citizens and residents traveling from India are even not required to produce test results or quarantine upon arrival.
@EdMarkey I am a Mass resident and this the travel ban from India imposed by @POTUS needs your attention. When mask restrictions are being rolled back and international students are allowed in the fall, why are H1-B visa holders being barred from traveling back to their homes?
@SenWarren If the US is relaxing restrictions for its vaccinated population and allowing international students to travel, why are current H-1B visa holders, who are living and working legally in the US, not being allowed to travel back to their jobs/families/lives?
@SenWarren I am a Mass resident and this needs your attention and help. There are 100s of us who traveled to India to take care of our families and are unable to return to our homes/lives. We risk losing our jobs to a blanket travel ban that has no scientific basis.
@SenatorMenendez “Having the family separated for so long would not only be a tremendous hardship—it would jeopardize the very job that makes Mahajan’s H1-B status and his family’s life here in America possible,” @nedprice https://t.co/zS3zMPQDAK
@SenatorMenendez Thanks for helping this family out Senator but there are thousands of us, with valid H-1B visas who can’t return because of the travel ban. The US must put measures for mandatory quarantine upon return and not blanket, unscientific travel bans.
@nehamaha@SenatorMenendez@RepZoeLofgren@SenWarren@EdMarkey please help bring attention to this. Thousands of Indians, who have built their lives in the US are being separated from their families and jobs because of the travel ban. Why do work visa holders have to suffer while students are being allowed to enter?
@EdMarkey If US citizens, residents and international students are being allowed to travel, why not high skilled non immigrants? We have our jobs/families/houses back in the US but are being penalized for traveling home to take care of our families. Please help. (2/2)
