Today, democracy and the rule of law are being dismantled in Hungary in the pursuit of unchecked power. This is nothing short of criminal conduct.
Using retroactive, tailor-made legislation, the government has barred half of the opposition, including its strongest leaders, from politics. This marks the end of democracy. If it is not the people who decide who they vote for, but those in power who decide who the people are allowed to vote for, then democracy is finished.
Through a retroactive, tailor-made constitutional amendment, they removed the President of the Republic, dismissed the President of the Constitutional Court, and forced out the Chief Prosecutor. With that, they have dismantled the rule of law as well.
What is happening in Hungary today is unprecedented.
Prosecutors arrived without prior notice at the facility hosting Fidesz’s servers to seize the party’s entire communications system and databases. Nothing like this has happened since the democratic transition in 1990.
After failing to break Fidesz’s resistance to the Tisza government’s arbitrary rule through political means, the Tisza government is now using legal means to cripple the strongest opposition party.
In a democratic state governed by the rule of law, this is unacceptable.
🗣️ | @domotor_cs 🇭🇺: “In 1950, Robert Schuman dreamed of a Europe where war would be ‘not merely unthinkable, but materially impossible’. Today, Brussels is choosing the opposite: more billions for war, more debt, more lives lost, and a weakened European economy. Europe was built on peace and prosperity — we must not betray that dream.” #Patriots
🕊️ The guns have fallen silent, the hostages are free, and long-awaited peace reigns in the Middle East. President @realDonaldTrump has made it happen!
Now it's Europe’s turn. President Trump’s success proves that we must never give up on negotiations. Without talks, there's no peace. It's time for us Europeans to follow President Trump’s example!
❌ | TIME TO GO. Ursula von der Leyen didn’t just push the Green Deal — she drove a wrecking ball through Europe’s automotive industry. Jobs lost, innovation stifled, and consumers punished — all in the name of ideology over reality. #stopvonderleyen#Patriots
Congratulations to our friend @AndrejBabis on the huge electoral victory in the Czech Republic! 🇨🇿 Tremendous numbers — the future belongs to the Patriots!
@ChristianHJW@PM_ViktorOrban Speaking of unity and strong entities, does ECR support von der Leyen or oppose her? 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤣

🇫🇷 | In France they weaponized the justice system to prevent @MLP_officiel - the most popular presidential candidate - from running in the elections.
Why?
Because they are afraid of the will of the people.
We, the #Patriots will not be intimidated.
We will continue to fight for the people in France and throughout Europe. #JeSoutiensMarine
The war rhetoric intensifies in Brussels.
COP is just starting, where @vonderleyen will present a proposal to the group leaders to boost EU Member States’ defence spending. Close to 800 billion EUR could be devoted to increase spending in defense capabilities and armaments.
The funding of this amount raises a number of questions. Diverting funds away from cohesion policy or another massive joint EU borrowing could have long-term negative consequences.
So apparently USAID financed ultra-progressive Politico in Brussels and basically the entire left-wing media in Hungary under the previous US administration. And they called me “disruptor of the year”…
I think the world owes a debt of gratitude to President @realDonaldTrump for uncovering and putting an end to this dark conspiracy.
🗣️ | @domotor_cs 🇭🇺: “Freedom of expression has always bothered left-wingers and radicals. They want to silence us, but we will not remain silent. We patriots will not allow our mouths to be shut, especially not by violent left-wing radicals.” #Bardella#booklaunch
❗What a hypocrisy! Gas imports from Russia to the EU increased 11% year on year in the first half of 2024. And 87 (!!!) % of Russian LNG goes to France, Spain and Belgium. Still, the Brussels elite and the left accuses Hungary of serving Russian interests. The EU cannot restore energy security in Europe if policy making is based on lies. More in the report below. @EU_Commission@Europarl_EN #Hungary #France #Spain #Belgium #Russia
The truth is that the European Union entered the #RussiaUkraineWar recklessly, based on flawed calculations and with a misguided strategy, and I attribute this to the actions of President @vonderleyen.
