If you see someone struggling to break away from their harmful beliefs, don't call them stupid or try to shame them. We have had generations of people raised on harmful ideologies in insular communities, and that they are struggling at all is a miracle.
If you're interested in social progress but feel even a little hopeless or lost, I highly recommend "The Wake Up" by @mjmichellekim ! I'm only halfway through but everything has been so relatably framed and understandable. How did I not find this earlier?!
@eilsna Last time I flew was in 2019 and then spent the rest of the time until this month in my house basically, I flew to Vegas earlier this month and it felt like nothing had changed (for better or worse), if that helps at all! You got this!

@HighOperaSinger I've been thinking about this for a while now, and I agree that pleasing everyone is impossible, but I think it's not that difficult to find good aspects in mostly everyone... yeah basically I agree! 😅
