@AndrewFromKW @sameo416 @RunGameRepeat @DFisman @joeyfox85 @DavidElfstrom @jljcolorado This is an issue with earthquakes in NZ. I think codes are ratcheting up; there seems to be limited time where you can grandfather before you must fix the building. I suspect Christchurch inspired this.

Healthy homes standards don't seem to be time limited.

UV is probably better in a bunch of situations especially as retrofits. Clearly we don't want to heat air from -20 to +20 constantly.

@blogboynick Maybe I'm atypical but I happily pay into Canadian employment insurance and yet it would be hard to imagine for me to be claiming from it (you don't get it if you quit, and I actually have tenure.)
