March 20, 2000. Chittisinghpura.
35 Kashmiri Sikhs were taken from their homes and killed in front of their Gurdwara by men in Indian Army uniforms.
For years, the truth was deflected and denied. Survivors spoke. Evidence emerged. Even former Indian officials later confirmed what many already knew.
This was not just an attack on one community. it was a message.
Remember #Chittisinghpura.

@sk07846_6 Sikh MPs carry a second‑class mentality—walking on eggshells, afraid to go against their parties, and worried about losing their candidacy. The only time they speak up is when they feel their votes are in jeopardy, and even then, nothing meaningful comes from it.
"CBC has not independently verified the account or the information."
It's in the article itself that none of this is verified, and it's all speculation as investigations are ongoing.
But of course, Shuv won't miss a chance to politicize a tragic death.
This is the same Shuv that has not once talked about Indian State disinfo networks, transnational repression, foreign interference, or state-sponsored terrorism (extortions, arsons, homicides, and other criminal acts) - all of which have been verified by our security and police agencies.
Also, Shuv, Khalistan is not a group like Hamas or IRGC. Looping them in together like this is nonsense on multiple levels.
@amneetbali Wow caught him with his hand in the cookie jar, none of these guys can be trusted. When did they start practicing indian politics in Canada? Starting to see the same patterns.
With the Prime Minister's trip to India now concluded, I want to observe how the contortions and non-responses in Liberal positioning are deeply troubling.
There's lots of intelligence information that most MPs don't have access to. And, if they can access it, they cannot speak about it. But repeated public statements from the government have highlighted serious concerns about foreign interference from India. This is consistent with concerns I hear regularly from members of diaspora communities, and I believe them.
There has also been a history of concern that decisions about responding to foreign interference have been shaped by geopolitical considerations. Sam Cooper reported that:
"CSIS planned a major intervention in 2017 to shut down rapidly growing Indian intelligence networks in Vancouver that were monitoring and targeting the Sikh community, according to a confidential Canadian foreign interference review. But Ottawa blocked CSIS’s operation due to “political sensitivity” and fears it would impact Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s upcoming trip to India, the top secret June 2019 report says. And so, the Indian diplomat in Vancouver targeted by CSIS continued to run his networks “unabated.”" (https://t.co/SJbDL7hifG)
According to these reports, the Liberal government stepped on efforts to combat foreign interference from India, highlighted concerns about foreign interference from India, and now has gone back to downplaying them. In every case driven by political considerations.
It should not be too much to ask that the government consistently put the safety and security of Canadians first and speak honestly and consistently about these issues.
@JaskaranSandhu_@sk07846_6@sammich001@MikeGillYYC So what you are saying is Canada is doomed. Because another term of Liberals is bad for Canada and for Sikhs. Even if some Liberal MPs spoke up, it doesn’t mean anything or changed anything. They know being silent would cost them votes.
BREAKING: Shaheed Nijjar Assassination:
Canadian Khalistan Group Demands Filing of Murder Charges Against Indian Official Diplomats and RAW Official Vikash Yadav
SFJ Calls for Shutdown of Indian Consulate Vancouver on March 03
Vancouver | March 02, 2026
SFJ’s longstanding allegations that Indian official diplomats at the Indian Consulate in Vancouver were involved in the assassination of Shaheed Hardeep Singh Nijjar have been vindicated by recent investigative reports revealing that Canadian authorities possess evidence that Consul General Manish and RAW operative Kanwaljit Singh — disguised as a “Visa Officer” — provided logistical and intelligence support to the shooters of Shaheed Nijjar.
Shaheed Nijjar, at the time of his assassination, was organizing the Khalistan Referendum in Surrey, which was scheduled for September 10. He was assassinated on June 18, 2023 — less than three months before the vote.
Canadian security officials also have evidence that RAW officer Vikash Yadav — who is wanted by the FBI in the U.S. Pannun murder-for-hire plot — directed, funded, and hired the four Indian foot soldiers who are being prosecuted in Canada for the assassination of Shaheed Nijjar.
In the U.S. case, Yadav, along with Nikhil Gupta, paid and hired hitmen to assassinate Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a dual citizen of Canada and the United States.
The Carney Government must immediately file murder charges against Indian official diplomats CGI Manish, Kanwaljit Singh, and RAW official Vikash Yadav, and initiate extradition proceedings against these Modi Government officials.
If Canada prosecutes only the Indian foot soldiers but shields the Indian official diplomats and Modi Government handlers behind the assassination, it sends a message that foreign intelligence agencies can continue to assassinate Canadian citizens on Canadian soil without consequence.
SFJ has called for the shutdown of the Indian Consulate Vancouver on March 03 because it functioned as the command center from which the assassination of Shaheed Nijjar was orchestrated.
“We warned the Canadian government from day one that Indian Consulates in Vancouver, Toronto, and Ottawa were being used by the Modi Government as command centers to run espionage and facilitate targeted assassinations against pro-Khalistan Sikhs,” said Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.
@Flanker_001@MarkJCarney What bumble-fuck Indian village are you tweeting from? Make sure you don’t get hit by a train on those train tracks of you know what I mean haha
