This scene is also one of the most important moments in this ep. Duang feels hurt and unsettled because of what happened with Qin’s high school friend. Instead of saying anything, he quietly sits alone, carrying his emotions by himself. His silence says more than words ever could

Qin notices. He may not speak, but he sees the change in Duang — and more importantly, he feels it. The distance, the heaviness, the unspoken disappointment — none of it escapes him

this scene broke me. it’s one of those moments where we actually see duang’s vulnerability. he’s sad but still forces a smile, brushing off the sadness and pretending he’s okay :(
