@GammaReigh my god international food gets butchered by assimilation. for example french food is pretty mildly flavored and many int'l places accommodate that flavor profile, so you wind up with really bland versions of food that fucks hard elsewhere. not always, but maaan it's disappointing

@GammaReigh nah italian food is delicious if you go to spots for locals. touristy spots (anywhere that has english menus/ads and/or is in a super touristy location) are a gamble. but international food often sucks. like indian food will often be the blandest shit, burritos are bad, etc.
