I just read an analysis that suddenly completed a puzzle in my mind, and it left me absolutely terrified. The news of the failed talks in Pakistan now tastes bitter to me.
As an Iranian, I’ve always known that Israel, US, and now the Arabs have a certain limit when it comes to distinguishing between the Iranian people and the regime. They show patience up to a point. But there’s a red line.
When the regime deliberately fires cluster bombs into the most densely populated cities in Israel to maximize civilian casualties...
when they tried to hit the Burj Khalifa in Dubai...
when they attached radiological waste to the missile they fired at the American base in Iraq (Ain al-Asad)
These countries still tried not to punish the entire population collectively. So far, Israel and US attacks were highly surgical and precise, trying to minimize civilian casualty.
But we all know, that once that line is crossed, once one of their insane moves actually succeeds, then something on the scale of Hiroshima can easily be justified as self-defense.
In a strange way, we Iranians have been lucky that both Israel and US are closely monitoring this regime and protecting themselves.
Because I know this regime from the inside. I grew up under it. I know most of its people are cunning, corrupt, and opportunistic. But there’s also a dangerous minority who are genuinely brainwashed.
Their minds work exactly like a suicide bomber’s. They don’t care about their own survival or anyone else’s. All they want is to strike America and Israel, even if it means taking the whole country down with them.
For decades, this regime has drilled “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” into 90 million people. I’ve personally known people who only live for that moment, the moment they can land a real blow.
And when they feel they have nothing left to lose, when they sense they’re truly collapsing, that’s when they play their final card: a tactical nuclear weapon or a dirty bomb.
Right now, the regime still has around 440 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium, material that is dangerously close to weapons-grade. Much of it is believed to be buried under the rubble of the tunnels destroyed during Operation Midnight Hammer. But almost nothing can physically stop them from digging it out if they decide to.
Before he was killed by Israel, the former head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization openly said that Iran has already passed the technical threshold for building a tactical nuclear bomb, a smaller device that can still produce a real nuclear explosion, even if not at full Hiroshima scale, and can be mounted on existing missiles.
A dirty bomb is even simpler: just take a small amount of radioactive material, attach it to conventional explosives on a missile, and hit a crowded city. The explosion itself isn’t the main point, the panic and long-term contamination are.
Now, I have zero doubt that President Trump genuinely wants Iran to become great again. But I also have zero doubt that if the regime crosses a nuclear red line, if they actually manage to carry out a radiological or nuclear attack, Trump will not hesitate for a second to use every tool he has to protect America. That’s exactly what I believe was behind his tweet: “A whole civilization will die tonight, and I hope it doesn’t happen.”
The analysis I read suggested that U.S. intelligence likely reached Trump with information that the regime was tampering with that enriched uranium. His warning wasn’t aimed at the whole country, it was aimed at the relatively sane ones inside the regime: “Stop the crazies before they do something that destroys everyone.”
Then Pakistan stepped in, a ceasefire was announced, and the very first thing Trump said was that the new talks must focus on nuclear weapons and that every last bit of nuclear material must be removed from Iran.
To me, the Strait of Hormuz is not the real issue. Trump doesn’t want to open it. If he wanted to, he could, but he has other plans and he is deliberately leveraging pressure from other countries and leaving it open for now. The real issue is the uranium.
And today, 70 senior regime officials showed up in Pakistan. Why so many? Because none of them trust each other. That’s what scares me the most. It shows there is no real central authority left to control the crazies. The person Trump called “the new, more reasonable leadership” apparently doesn’t have the power to control or convince the rest, at least not peacefully.
This regime is like a hostage-taker who has taken an entire country hostage, with his finger on the nuclear button. I truly hope it all ends well before he pushes that button.
I’m genuinely disturbed. Am I reading too much into this? What do you think?
P.S. I hope one day I will see Obama and his incompetent, evil team stand trial. Obama convinced the Senate to make a deal with this terrorist regime. With what argument? That their leader, the butcher Khamenei, had issued a fatwa saying they would not build a bomb. That's it. The entire regime felt so clever for fooling stupid Americans. Obama is complicit in the blood of Americans who are fighting today protecting the world from this hell.
The security forces in Iran threw acid on Marziyeh for not covering her hijab “properly”.
And this one? The grandniece of Qasem Soleimani the slain IRGC commander, in a luxury life in America, without hijab.
Yes for us ordinary women in Iran: show our hair, lose our face, beaten by morality police, arrested, blacklisted, and even get killed like Mahsa, Jina Amini.
Outside Iran: be connected to the regime, enjoy your freedom.
Islamic regime TV is now straight up vowing to murder all anti-regime Iranians both inside and outside the country
"Confiscating property is nothing. We'll make your mothers mourn you."
Demonic.
A close friend here in Tehran fought through a thousand layers of this digital blackout just to get a message to me.
I am putting it here so the diaspora and the Western pundits can look it in the eye.
They said: 'When I finally break through the blackout, I am greeted by people sitting safely outside, preaching their 'anti-war' worries. They cannot fathom that the mullahs slaughtered 40,000 of us in two days. We are being psychologically tortured by their moral grandstanding.
Those of us inside this cage know that cutting out a cancer is going to hurt. We are willing to take that pain, because it is better to die once than to be tortured every single day. If this war stops and the regime survives, we are all dead anyway our execution dates just get moved up.
From the Massacre of January until the first bombs fell, I cried every single day. When the strikes started, I was finally happy. But reading these 'anti-war' takes physically crushes me. It feels like a 100-kilo weight on my chest. It feels like these safe, comfortable people are grabbing me by the arms and handing me directly to the Islamic Republic to be raped.
We are embracing the fire and the fear because this is our last chance to end the nightmare. And yet, your 'peace' posts multiply our terror a hundred thousand times over.'
Hear us clearly. Silence the cowards who speak against this rescue mission. Every time you preach 'peace' while we are locked in with our butchers, you are pouring water directly into the regime’s mill.
See that destroyed building in Tehran?
FARAJA, Iran's morality police headquarters.
Mahsa Amini was killed there.
I was taken there for showing HAIR. The terror, the humiliation, unforgettable.
Millions of Iranian women know this fear.
Now it's rubble.
Not destruction. Justice.
The Iranian women’s national football team refused to sing the anthem of the Islamic Regime. Tonight. At the opening match of the Asian Cup. In front of the entire world.
So, to all liberal Western women:
Watch and learn.
THIS is what real feminism looks like.
