As part of the 75th anniversary celebrations of the National Sample Survey (NSS), SRO Udaipur (under Regional Office Ajmer) of the National Statistical Office (NSO) organized a community discussion at the tribal village of Rheodakhurd in Sirohi district. The discussion aimed to raise public awareness about the importance of statistical surveys, highlight the role of data in development planning, and encourage active community participation in survey activities. It saw enthusiastic involvement from officials, Gram Panchayat representatives, and around 80 local villagers—mostly women. The villagers actively shared their insights and feedback, greatly enriching the dialogue and increasing the program’s relevance and impact.

As part of the celebrations marking 75 years of National Sample Surveys (NSS), the Regional Office, Ajmer, recently organized a cycle rally along the picturesque Fateh Sagar Lake Road in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The rally aimed to raise public awareness about the significance of statistics, underscore the role of data in developmental planning, promote a healthy lifestyle, and encourage active community engagement. The event saw enthusiastic participation from approximately 120 officials of the National Statistical Office (NSO) representing the Ajmer, Jodhpur, and Udaipur offices, along with members of the local community.
