As claimed, the study did not show that Ayurvedic mumbo jumbo "Punarnavadi Mandura" with or without Drakshavaleha was as effective as standard of care (iron and folic acid) in pregnant women...because such a study is still unavailable.

Please note:
Punarnavadi Mandura is basically processed iron oxide (Mandur Bhasma), herb Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa), in a base liquid of cow urine (Gomutra) and

...Drakshavaleha is an Ayurvedic jam primarily made from raisins (Draksha), honey, and herbs like long pepper, ginger, and gooseberry.

Unhealthy herbal junk.

Why go through all that crap, when iron deficiency can be easily tackled with iron and folic acid? Why are these people so dumb?

Note the point that public funds are wasted for nonsense like this. And publication will happen at some point, either in an ICMR journal or Ayush journal or a proper journal which will go through post-publication peer review for real assessment.
