@drethelin I think Eddington is a good example of a director trying to very hard to integrate real-world phone usage into a modern story, and in effect just making a mediocre movie.

@drethelin But it doesn’t matter, what matters is *the conflict*. A lot of the greatest movie scenes ever are just people talking in a room, but a ton of modern “real” stories play out solely through textual mediums
