@jmerrill14 During the clinical, I have improved greatly in lesson planning and making sure I plan ahead with enough time to prep what I would like to do. This has helped me become more organized as well as my students.

@PingHua51639027 @jmerrill14 I totally agree Ping. I keep inclusive and diverse books in the spotlight section of our class library. One of my recent favs is "The World Needs More Purple People" by Kristin Bell and Benjamin Hart. #tncohort3

@jmerrill14 One strategy I think is really helpful in my classroom is to name the bias or differences we see. When you ignore stereotypes, they are preserved, when you discuss them openly, in a safe space and move forward from those stereotypes, it helps level the playing field.
