Reading an early copy of Facebook’s head of growth/CMO @alexschultz’s book (perhaps the man most responsible for Meta having more users than Christianity) and it’s the best summary of modern performance marketing I’ve ever read.

From high-level first principles to annoying details around correct measurement, it’s like doing a daylong download with a God-tier growth marketer.

Fyxer AI is absolutely mental. Signed up for the free trial yesterday and 100% will be going with the paid version.

I receive about 70 emails a day, roughly 80-90% are spam, the rest are critical communications with clients that get buried in the tsunami. With $10, $20, $50k on the line. This AI automatically sorts and drafts responses to the critical messages, shoving the rest into the background.

I’m blown away by the quality. Here’s a response drafted to an email I received last night from a $17k project inquiring about status in the queue. We’re waiting on my tree guy to schedule;

“Hi Tom,

Thanks for checking in. I spoke with my tree guy earlier this week - he’s still confident we can proceed without needing the power line drop from Xcel, but he’s planning to drive by and make the final determination in the next couple of days. Once he confirms, I’ll have a clearer timeline and will let you know as soon as possible when we can schedule the removal.

I’ll keep you posted as soon as I have a firm date.
