Announcing YC Crypto deals
We're now providing crypto deals to support fintech builders funded by YC: support on tools like wallets, onramps, audits, blockchains, onchain data.
Imagine saying:
“Arb BTC funding across perps, cap my daily loss at 1%, and auto-kill any version that fails stress tests.” 🤔
An agent:
1⃣turns it into a human-readable spec
2⃣wires it to CEX + DEX + any chain in one go
3⃣runs numerous variants in simulation
4⃣kills the garbage strategies
5⃣deploys the survivor strategies only
6⃣ the information is available on a live dashboard
That’s the trading future we care about:
✅where humans describe intent
✅agents do the work
✅and the market publicly decides which strategies deserve billions in liquidity.
The 2017 ICO craze was all about lowering the friction for capital formation. ICOs were both wonderful bc they birthed some cool companies but also horrible bc they birthed a lot of scams and shitcoins.
If feels like we are going into this era for vaults. The 2025 vaults craze is all about lowering the friction for asset mgmt but there will be some horrible scams and shit vaults, which will require greater discernment and underwriting capabilities for people to not get rekt
Security has and it will always be on top of Stackup’s priority list.
We are partnering with @cantinaxyz , one of the leading web3 security firms to offer up to $100k for the discovery of vulnerabilities in our smart contract wallet through a bounty program.
It doesn’t matter if you are managing a startup treasury, a DAO’s wallet or if you are a DeFi power user - you want yield on your funds.
For that reason, our partnership with @yield_xyz was a logical step for our vision’s fulfillment.
How I almost got scammed by a fake BizDev
Step by step:
1. About 3 months ago, I followed the real Plume BD on Twitter.
2. Hackers noticed it and DM’d me on Telegram: "Hey bro, let’s chat here - it’s more convenient"
*That’s usually when you drop your guard.
3. We created group chat, had several calls, discussed integrations and everything looked legit.
4. Then he asked: "Let’s use another meeting app - my colleague is in mainland China, Google Meet doesn’t work there"
He repeated this several times.
5. I checked the app: fake website, fake Twitter, and the "Download on Chrome" button led to an archive file, not Chrome Web Store.
6. That’s when I realized - blocked the download and deleted all chats.
Moral: Even if you’re an experienced biz dev, social engineering still works. Stay sharp.
Everything looked as natural as possible, our communication lasted for 2 weeks 🤯

interesting
> fundraise large amounts of $$, investors get $FT
> token is perpetual put option (investors can pull $ out whenever)
> fundraise goes into standard defi earn 4%
> company runs on 4% ($40m/yr of $100b raise)
> 4% is split between operating costs & token buyback
