Claude Mathis and the Desoto Eagles are state champs!

[Valeya Miles @valeya]

As a DeSoto alum living in New Orleans, these DeSoto v. St. Aug photos just make me so doggone happy. Plus, Bo Jackson.

[DeSoto Football @FootballDesoto]

Desoto Football had the privilege of having Bo Jackson address both teams before the game, truly an honor to hear Bo speak and share his wisdom with our kids. #DeSotoU

[RTDNA @RTDNA]

Journalists’ job is to show the world what’s happening in our communities. Local reporter @KaitlinRustWAVE keeps reporting even while being targeted by police, and viewers at home stare down the barrel of a police weapon.

I keep uttering this over and over. Things are reckless otherwise.

Today is a day to get things right.

Not be first.

Continue to be proud of the results of head-down hard work by my @NOLAnews colleagues and our stubborn hope that exposure can nudge those in power to make things better for our neighbors https://t.co/Jc4NgZi02f

@NolaWingedWheel Thanks, Gary. I hope all is well with you and the family! ❤️

[Mavs Nation @MavsNationCP]

Dirk Nowitzki truly revolutionized the power forward position, and even Doc Rivers knows it. 👊👍

@_Andrew_Lopez They might do better putting out a report of who’s left 🤷🏽‍♀️

Ezekiel Elliott was fined $13k for putting $21 — and Dak Prescott — in the Salvation Army kettle on Thanksgiving.

I asked Zeke today if the NFL should donate that money to @SalvationArmyUS.

Zeke: “Yeah. I think they should.”

I think so, too. #DallasCowboys

Black cowboys will always have my heart.

[ProPublica @propublica]

There are currently few reporters of color who specialize in investigations. Without their voices and points of view, there is every reason to believe that important stories are being overlooked. https://t.co/QOdzgpRdc7

[Valeya Miles @valeya]

As a Cowboys fan living in New Orleans, ditto.
