If you want a more aggressive approach, it is your right, but involving ANY government agency, big or small, is a terrible idea. We do not want to escalate this further and ruin any chance of Valko coming back.

Even if PPG never brings Valko back it’s still not a moral justification for this or to make them shut down. He’s a video game character.

They’re a company, they are allowed to make any decision they want about their game. It’s not a crime. If anything is ruining gaming it’s this psychotic parasocial fan behaviour & toxicity.

I’m seeing people take the Valko campaign into the replies of embassies, government agencies, political figures, and other official accounts.

Don’t do this.

Government and diplomatic channels are not customer-service channels for a game company! There are wars, human-rights concerns, public safety issues, hunger, access to medical care, animal welfare, and countless other matters with real-world consequences being discussed in those spaces.

A dispute over a fictional character... even one we care about... is simply NOT on the same scale.

It's also unfair to turn frustration with one company into a judgment about an entire country or culture. Papergames/Infold does not represent every Chinese person, Chinese culture, or China–U.S. relations.

I want Valko back. I’ve put a great deal of time and energy into that goal, and I still believe our voices can matter, but I will not turn a fandom dispute into a geopolitical one, and I will not treat an entire culture as “ruined” because something in my leisure time did not go the way I wanted.

Keep perspective.
Stay respectful.
Work within spaces where our advocacy actually belongs.

We can fight for Valko without losing sight of the much bigger world around us. 💚
