@vvestoxx yeah the way he stumbles over saying it, he may as well have said “my ex boyfriend gave it to me”

[val ✨ @valkhyriaa]

so marat’s nickname was probably given to him by a former lover, right?

[val ✨ @valkhyriaa]

@valesvaus ahh thank you! I did try to to find him once but I assumed he was gone, clearly didnt look hard enough lol

also somewhat related, I don’t think we ever learned why the rabbi doesn’t like marat? he says he brought trouble into their community, but doesn’t really elaborate. I remember wondering if marat had perhaps been involved with a man in their community.. hmm

[val ✨ @valkhyriaa]

the way he says this makes it seem pretty likely to me. maybe it was obvious to everyone else, but anyway. also bc he said he got the name before he was a rebel, because crakes are hard to spot and lead a secretive life

[hag spice @ghoulbrainz]

coen may be a man but trust me when i say he is an elder daughter

[lacra shady facts @ourrottenroots]

i remember people being annoyed at dawnwalker because "it's a generic male mc once again" just for coen's gender actually being important to the story in ways male main character's gender usually isn't

[Aleks @aleks_aleksxo]

oh he likes it (which one? yes.) #coenoflaslea #marat #thebloodofdawnwalker

Interest check: Would you be interested in a Dawnwalker woven tapestry featuring the below (WIP) design? Please comment if so! Trying to gauge if it's something people would like. $175USD like my other tapestries!
Pre orders would be in November.

[val ✨ @valkhyriaa]

@chereenki this is amazing I’m going to pass out

[val ✨ @valkhyriaa]

it is funny that coen always has sand in his pocket... is he walking around grabbing handfuls of dirt and shoving them in his pockets everywhere he goes?
