it’s crazy how people were talking about the mcu fandom like it was so scary, and so far all i’ve seen are positive, excited reactions to connor’s casting, another thank youuu
The fact that H’s fans who work in the media come out and support him without hiding behind accounts to spew hatred at his co-star speaks volumes to me.
his fans always getting exposed for being weird and racist towards hudson in their privs but they swear they're not bc they "hype his other costars who are poc" lol
If the whole media account thing is true I mostly feel icky about H possibly having to interact face to face w someone who so openly hates him & is constantly spreading ill will & biased bs towards him. Like, he’s just working and promoting his stuff and here comes ms parasocial
this narrative about connor fans is so funny because connor fans are out here adoring his friendship with rose, getting excited about him acting alongside david, and drooling over every connor and colman interaction. this is what the majority of connor fans are like😂
Clark Backo on Hudson Williams’ dedication to his craft as an actor in a new interview with @ashotmagazine! ❤️
“‘We were filming this show when everything had just exploded for him. He was dealing with people stopping him on the street for the first time,’ Backo says, with an air of protectiveness. For those who insist on following him in public, she has a simple warning: ‘Please stop harassing him, people. Let him have some privacy.’
But none of this newfound fame managed to veer Williams off course, with Backo noting how he turned up to set every day completely prepared. ‘To have so much going on in his life yet stay so grounded and so dedicated to his craft is something that I really admire. He’s also such a cinephile. He knows all the cinematographers, every actor.’ Backo, by comparison, has a never-ending watchlist of films she hasn’t seen. ‘He just stayed true to what he’s actually here to do. He loves his job. He’s locked in.’”

her talking about this now is so important. it shows that no matter how much time has passed its hard to forget being objectified in such an invasive/public way. many people especially women have felt this. the comments only prove why its important despite how long ago it was.
