Our Founder and Group President, Mahesh Kolli participated in the panel discussion on the Evolving Infrastructure Landscape, held as part of the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) Annual Investor Conference 2025 in New Delhi.

The session was moderated by Vinod Giri, Managing Partner – Infrastructure, NIIF Limited. Other panelists included Karim Mourad, Global Head of Infrastructure, ADIA, and Kiran Kumar Grandhi, MD & CEO of GMR Airports Ltd., Corporate Chairman, GMR Group. The panel explored current trends and opportunities in Energy Transition, digital and aviation infrastructure.

Mahesh Kolli during the panel highlighted how Greenko is investing into storage solutions to accelerate global #EnergyTransition by building multiple PSPs across India to create a 100 + GWh Cloud Based Storage Platform by 2030, while enabling the production of reliable, efficient, and lowest cost-carbon-free energy & molecules, strengthening the nation’s energy security while playing a pivotal role in the push towards decarbonization of global economies.

Group CEO & MD Anil Chalamalasetty participated at the @advasm2025 & delivered a keynote address in the august presence of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, Governor of Assam Shri @Laxmanacharya54 ji, Hon'ble @CMOfficeAssam Shri @himantabiswa ji & Hon’ble Senior Ministers from GoI and Govt of Assam & industry leaders.

At the Summit, Anil Chalamalasetty announced further investments in Assam apart from the existing investment in 2G Bio Ethanol Refinery for ₹4000 cr. He announced the development of a 900 MW PSP in Karbi Anglong with an investment of ₹6000 cr & a 2G Bio-Ethanol-based SAF Project with an investment of ₹4000 cr to accelerate #EnergyTransition and enable India to achieve its energy goals and lead industrial decarbonization globally.

He thanked and appreciated the Govt of Assam for organising a global event like #AdvantageAssam2 & expressed his optimism that the summit will accelerate the region's and India’s growth and position India as a global economic power.

In his address titled “Sustainability through Entrepreneurship,” Mahesh Kolli shared valuable insights on the intersection of entrepreneurship and sustainability, encouraging the graduating class to drive positive change in the world.

He elaborated on the transformative potential of integrating ecosystem valuation into business models, positioning it not only as an environmental imperative but also as an economic opportunity. Citing Greenko’s integrated storage solutions, which are able to deliver 24/7 renewable energy at the lowest prices, he highlighted that internalizing the value of nature creates new markets, drives innovation, and ensures long-term resilience.

Highlighting the critical role of innovation, sustainability, and technology in shaping a better future, Mr. Kolli urged the young leaders to pursue purpose-driven solutions that generate long-term impact and contribute to building a more resilient and sustainable world.
