I need to know if there’s a secret deal between the Kroenkes & our defenders. Maybe they get paid for every clean sheet. Just look at Timber here, already activating 2FA in front of Raya 😂😂
Rwanda banned second-hand clothes in 2018.
President Paul Kagame famously asked: "Why would any African wear used socks or vest of someone from Belgium, France or America? Why can't you make your own?"
Since 2018, Rwanda has halted the importation of second-hand clothing to protect and grow its local textile industry, promote "Made in Rwanda" products, and strengthen economic independence.
This is why you won't see the massive piles of imported clothing waste in Rwanda that are common in many other African countries.

Finally, the long list of the applicants for the much awaited Chair and members of the @IEBCKenya. Some notable faces of individuals drawn from a diverse field of backgrounds and sectors including Judiciary, Parliament, Executive, Commissions, Civil Society and County Governments.
The often dreaded role of Chair will require someone with a sober head between their shoulders with some experience handling complex political and policy situations as well as the ability to understand and appreciate the role of different stakeholders in the electoral process. The key qualification for Chair of the IEBC is similar to that of a Supreme Court Judge - 15 years minimum in the legal field either as an academic, practitioner or judge. So you can knock off any applicants with no legal background or degree.
While several of the applicants qualify for the job, former Chief Registrar of the Judiciary Anne Amadi and former Judge of the EACJ and Chair of the Constitution Implementation Commission Charles Nyachae have the profile and experience that stands out for this job. But with the many surprises lately on appointments, it could be someone else who doesn't necessarily have a public profile like these two. 🧵
