Rufai Oseni schooled an NNPC analyst who tried to defend the 30-day discount as “not a subsidy but simply a discount.” The analyst couldn’t help but smile throughout the entire exchange.
Rufai Oseni is arguably one of the greatest journalists of our time. His courage, incisive questioning, and commitment to holding those in power accountable make him stand out. A true force in Nigerian journalism! 🎙️👏

"Joash Amupitan, the APC member heading INEC, we will announce our PRIVATELY COLLATED RESULTS for the 2027 election…..
If you like do conference from now till tomorrow….."
— Nigerian man clears Joash Amupitan
@ayumzi@dammiedammie35 You actually called this an AI-generated video?
If not that I know some good and decent Yoruba people, I would have been calling out the Yorubas in a bad light as many Nigerians are doing today.
BAT they said have exposed many fools in Yoruba land. At least don’t be one of them.
“When I was younger, they use to tell us we the Yoruba people are the superior tribe in Nigeria. But now, APC have spo!lt the Yoruba image, they have weaponised p0verty and my fellow Yoruba people are now queuing for bread (video attached)”

@Born2rule015@ruffydfire As an adult born and raised in Anambra, I dare you to list the 78 communities that didn’t have primary and secondary schools under Obi. If u can provide it here, I will stop supporting Obi.
I will be waiting.
Just in : Phone traders in Kano have reportedly started chasing Chinese nationals out of the market for allegedly selling phones directly to customers at cheaper prices.👀
For you to properly understand how Nigeria works, I will explain Nigeria with these two men.
One is Mike Ozekhome, while the other is Abubakar Malami.
Both are renowned senior lawyers who have achieved a lot in their own right.
Both bear the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
Both Mike Ozekhome and Abubakar Malami were indicted for allegedly committing criminal offences.
In Mike Ozekhome’s case, he was indicted for forgery, impersonation, and the use of false documents, specifically a fake Nigerian international passport, to claim a disputed property in London.
While Malami was indicted on a 16-count charge of money laundering, concealment, and diversion of ₦8.7 billion in public funds, as well as illegal possession of firearms.
Both are being prosecuted by Nigerian security/anti graft agencies and are on bail.
Mike Ozekhome has not been found guilty of any offence by any court.
On the flip side, Abubakar Malami has an interim forfeiture order hanging over 57 properties.
The interesting thing is that, irrespective of the facts above, the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee (LPPC), at its 173rd General Meeting on June 23, 2026, held and barred Mike Ozekhome, who has not been convicted of any offence by any court, from holding himself out as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
Yet, Malami, who has an interim forfeiture order hanging over his head, continues to use his own rank undisturbed despite public petitions against him.
Malami is even contesting for the Kebbi State governorship seat under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Same people, different rules. That is how Nigeria works.

@General_Somto You see, when the government is working the people will feel it. No matter how little the positive impact.
But somehow, some charlatans are out there trying to convince gullible Nigerians that @officialABAT is working while the Nigerians are experiencing a living hell.
This is what Peter Obi has been saying: the system itself has to change. The way politics and elections are funded creates incentives for corruption, and Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has also raised concerns about the huge cost of election financing and its impact on Nigeria’s political system.
Until we fix how elections are financed, changing the people in the system alone may not be enough.
“Political parties must have parallel technology to independently collate and monitor their own results, and raise an alarm when INEC does otherwise, because INEC cannot be trusted.”
~ Rufai Oseni
This is not advice. It is a warning.
Anyone who still trusts INEC with the 2027 elections is taking that risk alone. The record is already there: delayed results, disputed figures, portal failures, and collation that does not match what agents saw on the ground. Trust is not owed. It is earned, and INEC has not earned it.
Well-meaning Nigerians should back this fully. Every party must run its own parallel collation, protect its agents, and publish its own numbers the moment the gap appears. Silence after the fact is how results get rewritten.
Do not outsource your vote to an institution that has repeatedly failed the test. Collate it yourself. Defend it yourself. Raise the alarm in real time.
7 innocent men beh@aded on their farms, in their own state, on their own land, by Fulani Islamic t*rrorists, and their he*ds taken away‼️
Widows buried their husbands without their heads.
This is a routine in the Middle Belt, that is even underreported
Yet, some of you ANEMALS come here to water down this madness with
“Oh hey, they're exaggerating the Christian genocide thing, it is a US-sponsored/funded propaganda/agenda.”

SHAMBASSADOR UPDATE
Reno Omokri, Nigeria’s Shambassador to Mexico.
Posted in March. Told Nigeria in June that Mexico was too busy with the World Cup to seat him. Final was July 19. It is October. No agrément. No letters of credence. No Spanish press. No SRE statement. Nigeria’s own embassy site in Mexico City does not list him.
In August Abuja admitted 65 of 69 envoys were cleared and he was still waiting. In September he was still “designate,” speechifying at Mexico’s Independence party in Abuja while the actual Mexican diplomat in the room carefully did not say yes.
Mexico did not reject him out loud. It did something worse. It ignored him. The shambassador remains seated in Lagos, defending a posting that exists only on his bio.

“If the economy is truly growing, Nigerians should be able to feel the impact, not just in speeches but in their everyday lives. The government are claiming the economy is better but the citizens are still suffering and struggling to eat or even pay bills”
