For women, the figures show greater consistency, and are alarmingly high: 33% and 30% of women in each data reported feeling unsafe. This is part of ongoing work with @VISION_UKPRP @CityUniLondon

In this paper, with my wonderful colleague and co-author Niels Blom, we argue that criminology has been hampered by a lack of longitudinal data to study the consequences of victimisation, with many quantitative criminologists limiting themselves to cross-sectional data.
