This scroll (S.3325) is made of sheets of a beautiful paper, very thin and smooth. It was probably produced in the imperial papermaking workshops from the Tang's capital, Chang'An.

It looks like someone (🐭) enjoyed a nibble out of this scroll (S.5263) over 1000 years ago. If you look closely you can spot the small teeth marks.

It was infilled using wheat starch paste and toned Japanese paper.
