GI tag sought for India’s costliest mushroom. The Gucchi mushroom grown in the wild in Doda district of J&K is an heirloom crop which retails for over ₹ 20,000 a kg. They are cherished for their antioxidant & anti microbial properties. Last year saffron was granted GI tag.
