@SomeoneWhoIsntI@sven_piek@Elmo0201921412@RyanMarino You can take that up with your precious society of dermatologists for their treatment algorithm then, but I’m still not really seeing how a dermatologist treating a dermatologic condition makes the point you are trying to make?
@SomeoneWhoIsntI@sven_piek@Elmo0201921412@RyanMarino I can post screenshots too. Treatment guidelines from the American Academy of Dermatology for acne. Accutane is awesome but a heavy-hitter. Starting with antibiotics is an appropriate step.
@SomeoneWhoIsntI@sven_piek@Elmo0201921412@RyanMarino Nicole, you’re exhausting. You’ve got your stories and I’ve got mine, so I’m going to follow the example of the hundreds of pediatricians I know that dedicate their lives treating and saving children over your possible HIPAA-defying surgeon partner.
@SomeoneWhoIsntI@RyanMarino I have academically exceptional classmates in peds, ortho, OB/GYN, IM, etc etc. People match as a backup into primary care specialties yes, but a lot of incredibly smart people match in every field because that’s where they want to be. Sorry you don’t understand that.
@SomeoneWhoIsntI@RyanMarino And your assumption that people match into peds because they are too dumb to get into something better (because more competitive = better according to all of the stats you keep posting I guess?) is also incredibly sus.
