The documentary was filmed at Visoki Dečani Monastery in 2013 and directed by Ivica Vidović. It captures the church services of the Great and Holy Week along with their explanations.

The film features commentary by the late Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro, who deeply explained the theological significance of each day. The documentary is in Serbian with English subtitles.

-Great and Holy Monday recalls Joseph the All-Beautiful and the barren fig tree, symbols of purity and judgment.

-Great Tuesday calls us to vigilance, reflecting on the wise and foolish virgins.

-Great Wednesday highlights the memory of the sinful woman and Judas’ betrayal — love and treachery revealed.

-Great Thursday focuses on the Mystical Supper and Christ’s humility.

-Great Friday is the day of the Cross, the Passion, Crucifixion, and Burial of the Lord.

-Great Saturday is the Great Sabbath — the silence of the tomb, but also the descent into Hades.

-Sunday - Pascha – the Day of Christ’s Resurrection and the victory of Life over death.

This unique recording is among the most important visual and theological introductions to Holy Week in #Orthodox tradition, a spiritual journey through Christ’s suffering and victory.
