“Class resentment“: treating every individual is equal with equal responsibilities and equal opportunities to express themselves within the limits of the law is neither anti or class based, at all. The very statement indicates an attempt to organize class and differentiated. It attempts to for the lowest common denominator of issues. It proves that there are semi smart people in the room who don’t really believe in individual freedom or individual opportunity.

If that’s what you wanna believe you have every right to believe it. I choose to believe what I choose to believe, which is what the real history of the Civil War shows. Economics. 2/3 of the US was slave free by the Civil War. 1/3 still wanted the rights that served their citizens and that was including slavery, but not just slavery. And remember in 1860, the states were dramatically stronger than the federal government. And their rights were more clearly recognized.

I didn’t say there was anything that wasn’t true. Your projecting. You’re an advocate for states rights though if I remember some of your other posts. Add you’re correct. It’s not a current flag so that part of it is meaningless. It’s just in the current terms a bunch of hillbillies who are my people sometimes putting up a symbol that says their hillbillies and means nothing in the national context except historically, and that only applies back to them.

I have not examined the oath that has taken by congressional witnesses, but they used to be something like the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Evasion is the avoidance of “the whole truth” deflection is also the avoidance of the whole truth. Those are artifices intended to become a defense when subsequent evidence says you’re a liar and a cheat.
The next sentence she’ll hear is: “but that’s not the question you ask me”, which is in the legal term: bullshit.
