Every political party has the right to increase its strength in legislatures. But it must be done by respecting the people's verdict, the Constitution, and the spirit of democracy.

Using constitutional institutions to grab a Rajya Sabha seat is not politics. It is an attack on democracy. It is an insult to the people's mandate.

In a democracy, seeking an explanation before taking a decision is a basic principle of fairness. Ignoring that principle and rejecting the nomination of Smt. Meenakshi Natarajan without transparency or due process is deeply unfortunate.

This is not just an injustice to Meenakshi Natarajan Garu or the Congress Party. It is a direct insult to the Constitution, democratic values, and the mandate of the people.

No one is above democracy. No one is above the Constitution. History has never been kind to those who misuse power and undermine democratic institutions. The people are watching, and they will deliver their verdict.

Respect the Constitution. Respect democracy. Respect the people's mandate.
