@RedactedAtlas Gaster's story (or at least what I think it is) is very cosmic horror to me, and I think a man of science and reason ending up as what's effectively a religious zealot due to exposure to something horribly unnatural plays into that

@RedactedAtlas I think he's pro-prophecy, but he's pro HIS version of the prophecy (HIS Deltarune, as he states), Deltarune plays around with themes of faith and religion a bit, so it'd be neat to have an antagonist's driving motivation be his personal interpretation of said religion/prophecy
