We also continue to closely monitor developments across states and remain in constant dialogue with senior representatives of the Union Government. We expect the assurances to be implemented in both letter and spirit.

अपने आस-पास के घरों में गहराई से तलाशें! ये बिना KYC वाले लोग कहीं आपके आस-पड़ोस के किसी घर में प्रवास-वास न कर रहे हों। इनकी पहचान ये है कि ये थोड़े संदिग्ध टाइप का व्यवहार करते हैं। मन के मैले ये लोग साफ़-सुथरे, साधारण कपड़ों में रहते हैं। निकलते अकेले हैं लेकिन किसी ख़ुफ़िया जगह पर एक-दूसरे से अंजान बनकर अख़बार के पीछे मुँह छिपाकर फुसफुसाते हैं। बच्चों को अपना शिकार बनाते हैं, बड़ों पर झूठे इल्ज़ाम लगाते हैं, चरित्रहीनों को माला पहनाते हैं, अपने पुरुषवादी तंग नज़रिये के कारण नारी का अपमान करते-करवाते हैं, बहन-बेटियों और दुखी माँ तक को सरेआम धमकाते हैं, नारी की आज़ादी पर नैतिकता के नाम पर पाबंदियाँ लगाते हैं। धन-लोलुपता, बदज़ुबानी, दग़ाबाज़ी, धोखे और षड्यंत्र के साथ-साथ बेशर्मी और बेरहमी इन स्वार्थियों की सबसे बड़ी पहचान है, जिसके लिए ये इंसान क्या, भगवान तक को ठग लेते हैं।

Hours after our press conference, Government’s representatives met us. The meeting lasted for 2-3 hours. They shared copies of the Bihar and Assam notifications guaranteeing FIR withdrawals, no action in future, and release of all detainees and arrestees.

They’ve reiterated their promise of releasing guarantee-notifications by union government and other BJP/NDA states by tomorrow. Hopefully, the agreed upon language shall be used.
