Let’s understand what is Route trade off:-

Imagine i am swapping $1,000 of Token A → Token B.

Route A shows an estimated $1,000 → $1,000.

But if the market moves while the swap is executing and the trade creates price impact, I might actually receive $985.

That difference is where slippage matters.

So when comparing swap + bridge routes, I would not look only at the headline quote. I had also check:

→ Minimum received

→ Slippage

→ Price impact

→ Fees

→ Route/bridge used

The displayed quote is an estimate, not a guaranteed received amount.

That’s one reason I like checking the full route before confirming a transaction.
