how moving alone at 19 to a country I hadn't even been to completely changed my life

i moved to the Netherlands, where i didn't speak dutch, didn't understand the culture, had no friends and knew nothing about what I even wanted to do in life

I couldn't even imagine how much everything would change

i moved so i can study cs there (i knew nothing about programming or software at all)

just to try to find a better life

I have always loved building things, but there I finally started making my own start-ups

had so many struggles, from adapting to a completely different way of life and having problems with the dutch government, to feeling like nothing is working out and falling inside a deeper hole with each day

but i just kept pushing - and at the end, moving there turned out to be one of the best decisions i could have made. I grew up so much as a person because of it. Found amazing people that have inspired and helped me in more ways then they can imagine

Met my best friend there and turns out building businesses is not that hard when you have someone to share the journey with. (biggest rage baiter I have ever met btw)

Started working even harder on my dreams and after trying again and again and again,
my startups began getting traction and customers

2 years later i still don't speak dutch and i still don't fully understand the culture, but if i could go back and do it all over again i wouldn't change a thing

they just keep waiting for something to happen and never take any action
