@visiblecare I have no data on my newly transferred phone, and your AI resets after asking for my IMEI. Are there any actual people there to help or should I cancel, get a credit card refund, and move to a better provider?
ElasticPress 4.7 is now available! This release adds 'Did You Mean?' search to Instant Results, meta filter support for the block editor, better language support, along with performance improvements to Autosuggest and more. Check out all the changes here: https://t.co/1jfwKGyB7o
@oneunderscore__ The best part of this is we have no idea if this is even the real MIT Twitter because we can't see the username in the screenshot and the blue check is now meaningless. I have to trust a guy who pushes chop suey sandwiches in at least 7% of his tweets.
I want to have some fun in AI too , but bing discriminates against all redheads.
And now I wasted a whole credit proving something we already know. We are too spicy.
A mistake less experienced software engineers make when it comes to estimations:
They break out maintainability/quality. Eg “building the feature is 2 weeks, adding automated tests another 3 days”.
What follows by less technical stakeholders is a push to remove the latter.
My Starlink has been broken for a month and support has gone silent. When I cancel, the company wants to charge me for another month through March 15. Since they don't have phone support, I'll have to dispute the bill via my card company. What a joke. Great tech ruined by a moron
Be careful when following this advice. Unlike crypto, egg sales are highly regulated and inspected since they have actual intrinsic nutritional value and the risk they present when improperly handled is well understood. Also, wash 1,000 eggs by hand before raising your A round.
Instead of buying $100k of crypto last year I should have bought chickens
An egg laying chicken is about $25, so about 4k chickens and each chicken lays about 5 eggs/week, so 20k eggs/week output
At $8/dozen we’re talking $50k+/month
What am I doing buying crypto or RE?!
We need to get rid of this annual bonus thing.
Let’s pay bonuses quarterly and stop holding employees hostage until January.
Once a couple of the big firms start doing this, the others will follow.
Microsoft is different from other tech giants, because they have a unique strategy where they sell products to users for money. This generates "profits" for them. Really interesting stuff.
@reframingchris @JPober This happened to me too in NH. When I did get my Master's it came with a sweet, sweet $75/credit raise. Yeah, you read that right. If the room wasn't on my way from my day job office to my car and the class at 5pm it would've been terrible. As it was I averaged $5/hr.
@cfarivar@EricFrohnhoefer I wonder if that management training the new boss mocked and skipped contained anything like "criticize privately; praise publicly" or any other really advanced leadership advice along those lines.
@jessenoller Seeing these tiny amphibians arriving in our grow tents every spring is a cause for massive celebration, because we can stop worrying about flypaper.
