I hit the reply button on my email browser and said the following word for word:

In closing, let me ask you the following question: What do you expect of your sales people?

I met with him and in his face I could see his eyes glow and he said my comeback was exactly the reason why I am sitting where I’m sitting now, and he never had one sales person come back to him with such a reply after they were rejected.

He then brought in his Chief Operating Officer, who spoke to me and she was also blown away by my poise and manner in which I conducted myself.

I was offered the job on the spot. .."
